Elizabeth Smart begs to differ. Quit being dramatic. You can’t possibly know what kind of lives they’ll lead and there is no “likely” as to anything at this point.
Yes they’ve been traumatized but the human mind can do incredible things. Give them a chance before you write them off.

I agree. There was also another chick who was in captivity for 10+ years, I think, that escaped a few years ago. I can see here face—just can’t place her name. Last name starts with a D maybe? Anyway, she sees fairly well adjusted considering. These kids may indeed be fricked up for good, but it’s not guaranteed. People are resilient.

2 of the 3 women held captive by Ariel CAstro seem to be leading normal lives. “Experts” thought they’d need to be institutionalized.
I don’t mean to marginalize what these people have been thru, but maybe if we didn’t automatically assume they’re victims, theyd Recover more quickly from their experience.

Yeah, I tried really hard to guess who could be older than 14. To know that there are 20 something year olds in that picture is disturbing. There was one fb photo from Disneyland where the girls had on v neck shirts. Their entire ribcage on the chest was protruding.
I don't get it. Were they just locking them up intermittently? Was it a Jesus/God thing? Because it does appear that they have been out in public in recent years. Very confusing and obviously quite disturbing.

To my eye, those family pictures don’t look “normal”. There’s something not quite right about those kids.

It's easy to judge but those with kids know that sometimes when they're really cutting up and not listening, you get the urge to shackle them all up for several years.
