Agree with you both. Luckily, decisions like you are talking about are almost ALWAYS made locally. I would argue that your local councilman has more influence on your day to day life than the president does.
Being active in local government is the answer

Right: Be fiscally conservative. Shrink Government. Throw more parades?
I guess I'm not sure how we are supposed to measure consumer confidence in the president. Maybe I should stop looking at his approval ratings.

Do you honestly think that the president can control the stock market?
If so, why arent we at 4,000?

Try giving money to poor people, and the conservative media will start reporting on the dollar amounts too...

So what is the alternative? Take away an individual's property rights to build apartments/houses/condos?
Only the former president?

This is to identify people by using biometrics. It has nothing to do with trying to find a terrorist with a high heart beat.

Someone who makes $50k a year is exactly the type of person who needs social programs. You ARE the broke person they are trying to help.
You are too busy looking down on others assuming that they are coming for you, that you dont realize that you've been playing a rigged game against the top 1%.

Too bad the settings made half the photos blurry. Amateurs.
Check the logs? Does Windows know that it is shutting down? Giving any error codes?
So essentially, we have a single payer system?

Are hospitals "really" losing money from Medicaid? Or are they not able to bill 300% of the actual procedure cost (which they made up in the first place)?
If you are comfortable, you can easily open up the DVRs and see what sized fans are used. I've bought replacement fans that are same sized and reduced the noise significantly.

Lightbulbs don't last in your home like they do in your car, because they were designed to fail. Read about The Phoebus Cartel.

REOLINK is decent for the price. Can you comment how loud the fan is for the actual DVR?

I dont understand why anybody would work for a company that obviously has no idea how to run itself.

Think more about what website you will host this on, and how you will get the feed to it.
The website will need the stream in a certain format, and you'll need to make sure your camera can support that format.
For example, the UBNT camera recommended typically only streams RTSP and doesnt have a web-interface to manage the settings of the stream. They are used more for NVR systems with only UBNT gear.
Sony/Axis would be first choices if you are going for quality camera, components and interface. There are knock-offs however but put more emphasis on the website than the camera > then find a camera that will work.

Hopefully one day people will learn that free market capitalism is the only way to get the best possible product at the cheapest price.
Except, you're forgetting that the ISPs kindly requested the government to pay for their infrastructure upgrades rather than spending their own money. They want government funds to build private networks and then no government oversight after. Pick one or the other.

We dont have to "guess" what will happen now that NN is repealed. We know exactly how pricing models work for cell phone carriers.
When people wanted a cell phone to "talk", you got charged by the minute. When people wanted to use their phones for data instead of talking, minutes are now FREE, and you pay for the data.
They will continue to charge for each byte and they will squeeze as much as they can from each subscriber. Its literally their business model.

re: Operator vs. Engineer?

It's OK. In a few minutes the operators will need to go roll up some hoses, so they'll stop posting for a bit.
It all boils down to blue collar vs white collar. One job you are being paid to "do" and the other job you are being paid to "think".
As the other poster mentioned, one is a job, and the other is a career. Easy enough to figure out which is which.
Each person needs to decide for themselves what they are trying to get out of their life, and what is important to them.
