Agree with you both. Luckily, decisions like you are talking about are almost ALWAYS made locally. I would argue that your local councilman has more influence on your day to day life than the president does.

I guess I'm not sure how we are supposed to measure consumer confidence in the president. Maybe I should stop looking at his approval ratings.

Someone who makes $50k a year is exactly the type of person who needs social programs. You ARE the broke person they are trying to help.

Check the logs? Does Windows know that it is shutting down? Giving any error codes?

Are hospitals "really" losing money from Medicaid? Or are they not able to bill 300% of the actual procedure cost (which they made up in the first place)?
If you are comfortable, you can easily open up the DVRs and see what sized fans are used. I've bought replacement fans that are same sized and reduced the noise significantly.
