Little kids, little problems…..

Just sent our last kid off to college, so we are empty nesters……and it’s fricking awesome!!!! Hurry up and finish having babies and then start that countdown clock to high school graduation. Then kick ‘em out!

Let's be honest. It's probably not the kids who suck.

Two year olds are massively selfish assholes. They don’t give a damn about much except what they want.

When they have kids...grandkids are great.

2,3,4.
They still whine and bitch but it’s over reasons that you know don’t matter. Tantrums and such.
At 1 it’s exhausting because you are new and don’t know when he’s really hurt or just fussy. Later you get the hang of it. Plus they can speak so they TELL you their tears are for bullshite reasons. So you let them “work it out” and “write it down for you therapist” which were my go to smart arse comments in the midst of a tantrum.
FTR the therapist is a future imaginary therapist. My son did not see a therapist at 2-4 years old.

Once teeth have come in and the kid can talk things get easier. His immune system will also get stronger and he won't be sick as often.

That's just part of it. When they get older and are able to tell you what's wrong it will be easier.

13-15 is pretty easy.
Just wait

This, ladies and gentlemen, is solid evidence of a man who now gets to bang with his clothes off!
Congrats my friend, you’ve made it

This is what I was thinking too, my daughter is only 18 months old, but she’s been a joy (I realize I may eat these words during her teenage years

Somewhere between 20 and 24 years old usually……
Posted on 11/2/22 at 7:21 am to DiamondDog
I enjoyed all of the ages but I only had one and I have come to realize from being around other people's children that we just got lucky with him and he is easy going and low maintenance. He's 20 now.

Have you had his ears checked?
Posted on 11/2/22 at 8:11 am to DiamondDog
I really believe this is not normal. I've raised a gaggle of kids and this only happened a few times and never was a pattern. He could actually be in pain somewhere. First thing I would do he have his ears checked. And describe how he is to the doc.

There’s nothing wrong with not rocking and letting him play.
My oldest is 30 but when he was teething those years ago, every night without fail he got Benadryl and orajel per the pediatricians rec.
It’ll get better. Try to relax because as stupid as it sounds, you WILL miss it.

At 3.5 my daughter became the most delightful person on earth. Charming, hilarious and sweet. She still has her moments at almost 4, but for the most part she's well behaved and the most popular person in the room no matter where she goes.
My 16 month old on the other hand went from being a laidback baby to a total whinebox that wants to be held CONSTANTLY.
Next year is gonna be rough.
