I don’t understand the logic of paper straws to reduce plastic use but not paper bags instead of plastic bags. We grow pine trees like corn. Make some damn paper bags.

Makes me think of Starbucks going to that plastic lid so they could phase out plastic straws but the lid uses more plastic than straws do.

I’ll never understand why an adult free of disabilities needs a straw for something that isn’t “frozen”. It’s almost always the “well done” steak crowd that uses straws.

For some reason the straws are the bigger problem. Our daughter did a beach cleanup in Florida for NHS and they had more than 3 garbage bags that were just straws. She said straws dominated the pollution followed by cigarette butts. Which agsin pretty much represents the same demographic.

We need more plastic things imo. Plastic roads, plastic toilet paper, plastic condoms. Who gives a frick if it gets into our food supply?

Y'all are such babies. Instead of you being inconvenienced by your paper straw you use plastic and now there's millions of plastic straws in the oceans that will never decompose. Suck it up or just drink your drink like a man with no straw.

Glassware is about the cleanest thing in a restaurant. The dirtiest by far is the soup spoon and the menu. All silverware is less clean than glassware.
