I don’t know if it’s public knowledge, but it's definitely what happened.

If getting bombing material was legal, more bombs would go off.

You realize there are all kinds of bombs that anyone can purchase legally right? Certainly you can't buy like C4, but you can buy dynamite, Tannerite, and gun powder.

I don't know about fuses or anything, but you have the shite like pressure cooker bombs too.

You take some steel pipe with two end caps from the hardware store used for gas piping or water piping, fill it with gun powder, and add a lighted fuse to one side and voila you have a damn bomb.

You can buy fuse. Hell you could strip the fuse out of fireworks.

Oh and btw 20lbs of tannerite strapped to 3 five gal buckets full of diesel and oil makes a solid mushroom cloud and napalm bomb in case anyone wants to have some fun in an open field

I know you can buy the fuse you light for dynamite, but what I meant was other fuses like timed, motion sensing, etc. I'm assuming those may be able to be made by someone with some know, or maybe you can buy them?

People act like bombs are some crazy hard thing to make, they are actually pretty simple. While you can't buy them pre made, they are very easy to make on your own.

I think his point is there aren't ready-made bombs you can buy off the shelf at Academy. You can put one together yourself, but that's a dangerous proposition.

Currently at my office at 183 and Mopac. Waiting for anything. It doesn't help that one of my coworkers orders no shite 6-8 packages a week.

So apparently there was a second package from the same sender. It was sent through Schertz and then made it to a distribution center near the airport in Austin. The second package was turned over to law enforcement and a controlled detonation is supposed to occur.

I would think they could track the packages back to the drop box they originated from and go back through surveillance video to get a potential list of suspects

They thought the same thing for TK who rode a bus to a city hours and hours away.
