There's gotta be a pretty good psych profile on this guy.
What kind of explosive is he using I wonder? Something like tannerite?
Seems odd you'd make so many little bombs that are barely hurting people, and not a bigger bomb that does more damage? I mean I wonder if that's because of his lack of knowledge on better explosives or his lack of access to better explosives?

He's already killed two people and others are stable but in the hospital. The only one that didn't cause a lot of damage was this one in the FedEx facility because it exploded before it reached it's final destination.

Per presser this morning they found an intact bomb at another FedEx facility. Hopefully they get some good technical intel from it.

This guy might not have the IQ of Kazynski, but he's a much better bomb maker.
You're right. Unibomber only had 3 fatalities out of 16 bombs. The rest were either diffused or severely wounded (loss of fingers etc).

Have they confirmed that the packages had bombs in them? I haven't seen this yet. The other FedEx Facility in Austin that is being investigated about a suspicious package is one on Brodie Ln.

Quickly getting cocky and sloppy. I'm guessing he gets burned sooner than later unless he left no forensic evidence and goes underground now.
Unless it's a copycat. I don't understand how someone who is so careful in the other attacks so quickly flies off the rails.

Now they are saying that the package that blew up in the Schertz facility came from an Austin facility. wtf

Its a bomb though. You put a bomb somewhere busy and you can kill 50 people.
I haven't seen any pictures yet, but I'm guessing they are pretty small bombs? Like not blowing the entire house up or anything?

They have a FedEx store roped off in sunset valley. They think it was shipped from there.

Correct, they are small enough to fit inside of an amazon box or backpack. I am as surprised as you are that he did not target any of the many events going on at SXSW this past week. Thankfully he did not, whether from the threat of being seen or whatever was in his head.
Here's an aerial shot of the bomb site that was attached to a trip wire: (start video at 4:15)

Military style bombs should be outlawed. End of story.

The person doing this is the definition of a true terrorist. It's obvious his intent is to create mass fear as well as kill on occasion. Everyone gets mail and/or deliveries....what a better way to create fear? Also, a bomb that can kill 50 people is quite the feat. Car bombs rarely take down 50+ people. It would take large amounts of ingredients to create, thus possibly attracting attention to yourself.

Odds this is some insane gun-nut trying to prove a point on gun control by exploding Libs in the Lefist capital of Texas?
I’m just asking questions, folks.

I don't think his goal is to kill a lot of people. He might just be trying to induce panic, which he is successfully doing. I'd imagine a lot of people in Austin and nearby areas are pretty freaked out by this and it's causing a headache for law enforcement and Fed Ex, UPS, etc.

Hope the Texas rangers are involved and the Feds are not blocking their ability to their job
