I lift these 4 hotdogs up to my mouth, so yeah I need a lot of water.

IJS if your appearance is the sole determination of your self worth, yikes.

the study showed that this 1) mostly affects women and 2) is temporary and self corrects once the body adjusts

this is absolutely nothing

It's also a common side effect for people who have rapid weight loss for any reason.

Is it the semaglutide causing it or is it people malnourishing themselves by over doing it and not following a proper diet

Malnourishment causes hair loss

I love these threads. OT hates fatties. OT hates people taking a drug that makes them not fat. OT becomes confused and ends up fighting itself over the issue.

The OT also wants a traditional, stay-at-home wife but then bitches about alimony. Logical consistency has never really been the OT’s strength.

You mean to want to be a healthy person? You think that requires a mental disorder? WTH... I'm so tired of these stupid posts like this.. what the hell are you even talking about...?

You know what.. Nevermind... Don't answer.... this is a dumbass discussion, and I really really don't care at all what you think about it...

Have a good rest of your day.

Isn’t this suboxone (used for opioid addiction).

Would be more interesting if they had some lab data like total protein/albumin/prealbumin levels to compare.

This is so exhausting. If you don’t know the difference in ARR and RRR, you shouldn’t have an opinion.

90% of people who lose weight gain it back. 90%! Are naysayers saying that they’ve never failed at something? Or just that they don’t understand why they would seek outside influence to achieve their goals?

How about you don’t be fat and you won’t go bald. Buffets should have a weight limit. If you’re over XYZ pounds then you can’t enter and eat. Restaurants should have a special menu for the obese that’s only vegetables. Yeah, it’s harsh, but these people need to be shamed.

That's Buprenorphine.

There is also a non-narcotic anti-anxiety medication called Buspirone.

It's crazy how fast this went from "miracle shot" to "let's hope I don't go bald in the process." I thought shedding was just stress, but the timing lined up exactly with starting Ozempic. And seeing posts about others losing chunks of hair made it click.

Honestly, the fact that there's already a Wegovy lawsuit tells me the manufacturers knew more than they let on. They marketed it like candy without giving people the full story.

Weight loss generally leads to hair loss in initial stages. It is not permanent loss, though. This should not have taken a study to figure out with it already being a well known fact.
