It blows my mind how many people are on this stuff instead of trying to eat better and exercise.
You ever think there are many of us who do both? Like me?
I know some that once they started losing the weight, they were able to start exercising and lose even more.
Ive lost 120 and I take the shot, plus I go swimming every other day. I'm off of my meds and feeling great.

Life would just be a little more simple if I were bald.
If it all fell out, yes.
I shave my head twice a week.
I used to go moths without a haircut. If I did that now I would look like this.

Man it must be hard to find any food nowadays that hasn't had a man made chemical touch it.

It's very odd how many people on this board want to bitch about fatties in day to day life, but then try to shite on them for taking a drug that literally makes fatties stop eating.

People with great genes didn't "earn" it either.
Bro the best genes I know belong to a 400 lb dude in his late 80s. There's a reason you don't see many fat elderly people but this guy is made of steel.
I'm talking about people who were fat, then lost weight through diet & exercise. They had the same genes the whole time.

I think it's a lack of respect, like the person isn't earning it the same way someone would by losing weight the old fashioned way.
Ozempic will make you skinny, not necessarily fit, whereas people traditionally would work hard, count calories, etc. That conveys a certain amount of discipline & achievement that gets watered down if all you do is take a drug.
It's the same as saying "she just slept her way to the top" or "He only got that job because he's so & so's nephew" - people don't feel like you earned it so they look to tear you down.
Not saying I agree, just that's what I believe drives the thought process
I see what you’re saying.
I can understand the analogy, but it’s such a garbage worldview IMO. If someone gets a job or a position they don’t deserve, that means someone more deserving didn’t get it.
Nobody “misses out” on anything when a dude looses 50 lbs on Ozempic vs burning 800 extra calories a day and eating only broccoli and chicken. It’s simply resentment based on someone else’s goofy sense of “fairness”.
Well, Ozempic baw and I now weight the same and all he had to do is take a pill. Meanwhile, there are also dudes who did a 4.3 40 out the womb. Life isn’t “fair”.

Well and it's a completely ignorant thought process (not calling you ignorant, obviously) to have when human bodies and metabolism are more complex than a straight up calories in/calories out for a lot of people. Especially in the modern US.

You don't feel more self worth when you accomplish something hard?
Are you a weirdo unlike other humans?
I stated a preference, not an ultimatum. You capable of understanding that?
Downvoted instead of discussing.. Yep.. I don't think he comprehends much.

I love these threads. OT hates fatties. OT hates people taking a drug that makes them not fat. OT becomes confused and ends up fighting itself over the issue.

How has an Ozempic thread gotten to page 4 without Mingo weighing in with his manlet self righteousness?

If having a certain body habitus is the lifetime achievement from which all self worth is derived, that's kinda sad
