State or federal prison? I'm assuming state?

Since a judge is still alive, he has a much better chance of posting before rag.

I forget the exact numbers but it was something like ...A nursing home was fined $250K for neglect. He reduced it to $29.95 for $5K in campaign donations.
It was a very significant amount of money.

In that case, a jury had awarded $5.2 million to the family of the victim; as the presiding judge in the case, Maggio reduced the award to $1 million.

10 years still seems like a lot for a non violent offender.
I'm guessing he won't do the whole 10?

Federal prison... I'd bet that he does at least 8. No parole.

Dude looks like he has meth teeth. You'd think some bribery and corruption could buy you some veneers

I am surprised he plead guilty and still got the max

Agreed... In a crime like this, you shouldn't get the max time if you agree to plead guilty.

Nah, there was some pay-for-play stuff going on, this isn't solely about Charlize
Although some he posted about many of his cases here and someone connected the dots. Pretty sure some of that was used as evidence to get him removed which started his downfall.

I just watched about half of the 14 minute interview, he is pretty adamant that taking the plea deal was not in his best interest. Don't know what his other options are/were, though.

Just think if this judge wasn't so stupid enough to recklessly shitpost about his job and confidential matters in court, he would've gotten away with it all.
But still how did that liberal paper doing oppo research get a hint that he might be on here?

This is the epitome of white privilege.
Talk about a pretty white woman's adoption on the internet- spend 10 years in jail
Shoot unarmed black folks- get a paid vacation!
You have become as bad as LSUTangerine FYI

What happened to the people who bribed the judge?
Posted on 7/19/17 at 10:15 pm to NewIberiaHaircut
Wow... So this is where we are at, a judge getting sentenced to 10 years in prison for posting on TD
There is no doubt in my mind anymore I'm going to federal pound me in the arse prison for something I post on here.

Why was the adoption done in Arkansas?
They have privacy laws concerning abortion IIRC. Actors go through Arkansas so it's not tabloid news. None of that matters if a judge spreads it on a message board, though.
