She did some type of closed, secret adoption in front of him and he came here and blabbed about it.

The former judge had pleaded guilty to reducing a verdict in a nursing home negligence case in 2013 in return for campaign contributions.
I forget the exact numbers but it was something like ...A nursing home was fined $250K for neglect. He reduced it to $29.95 for $5K in campaign donations.
Is he going to a country club prison or one that is full of large, angry, orcs?

Even if Charlize Theron has a strong safety looking kid, I still say she is a solid OT7.

She didn't want to have a child of her own and get a mom butt.

Do you consciously make it a point to show how shitty of a poster that you are?

I know. If he were dead, posting again wouldn't be an option.

shite, I thought he was already in prison.

The kid is from South Africa though. Why was the adoption done in Arkansas?

What happened here? Can someone provide cliffs?
GeauxJudge was a poster here who spoke too liberally about the cases that went before him. He spoke about a closed adoption that involved Charlize Theron that did not come before him, but was in the same court where he worked. He spoke about "banging the gavel" on defendants who were going before him. He also made some pretty sexist comments. Relatively tame stuff for around here, but still stuff that you wouldn't want to get out if your career and livelihood depended on public perception.
Anyway, he was running for some sort of higher judgeship office in Arkansas when opposition research in some smaller more liberal online publication put together the information that he posted here and irl outed him. It started with the comments that he made about the Charlize Theron adoption. There were also ties in his comment history about his daughter attending LSU.
It all just fell apart from there. His campaign was already in bad shape from this bad press, but he was also tied to corruption charges which is what this jail sentence is about. He apparently reduced the settlement penalty for some nursing home that came before him in court in exchange for campaign contributions for the position that he was ramping up his campaign for.
It's all some pretty low dealing, and I don't think anyone with enough knowledge of the situation really disagrees that he got what was coming to him. Still fricking crazy to see it unfold like it did before us on this message board.
