If you don't want the insurance company to run roughshod over them and pay them substantially less than what they would get with a lawyer then yes.

i have been practicing law in Baton Rouge since 1991, and have done personal injury. I now send everything to Greg Rozas. (225) 523-6457 because he's good.

I cannot speak for Greg, but avoid everyone whose name/pic is on a billboard. Generally speaking, a good attorney relies upon his reputation and good will that they have built up over the years and not by putting their face over thousands of billboards.

Seriously, I usually laugh or breathe a sigh of relief (getting lazy as I get older) when facing a billboard attorney on the other side.

Should she consult an attorney given the current state of tort law? I told her if she does, to avoid billboard types. I know a few professional but small firms who have a lot of experience in the area.

Yes.

Have her pick a number between 2 and 9 and press it 7 times on her phone. Someone should answer that can help her.

The at-fault driver is a minority, who’s suffered through a lifetime of unspeakable oppression at the hands of a privileged white patriarchy, and your niece is a dimocrat?

I got rear ended a few years ago by a drunk at 4pm on college dr. That frick worked for a local insurance company and must has started very early at work with the BAC that he blew.

My Audi only had 25K on the clock, but his insurance company deemed it fixable. Well we had it fixed and everything was fine until I had to step on the brakes. When I did, the rear end would get loose.

Took it back to dealer four times and they could not fix it. Winded up trading it in and took a bath on that because of the wreck.

I honestly wish I would have called Gordon. I hope there is not a next time, but if there is, I'll get my pound of flesh.

The attorney is going to take 33%. See what the insurance company offers first.

Assuming this post is serious, yes a lawyer will maximize the recovery.

However this person probably has minimum insurance. 30k for multiple people. 15 max per person.

ETA to add underinsured insurance can pay also

If you want to start a fun thread, do it. But this material is crappy…get better subject matter.

Well, thank you for that well-reasoned and articulate argument on why somebody should use Greg Rozas... because he's good.

Fake.

How could you not know that?

Because I don’t solicit clients on a message board.

I don’t think he is asking for a specific attorney but current tort reform and if it makes sense to hire an attorney.

There are too many unknowns in his situation to give any real answer.

So your niece and her young daughter did not get hurt in a head on collision (thankfully) yet you wanna file a lawsuit over anxiety.

I have anxiety and take medication for it. Probably 3/4 of the country does.

No need to go the Gordon/Morris route.
