I have 4, 2 witnessed and 2 unwitnessed.

A great shot can turn out shitty and a bad one can bring you a hole in one. I witnessed one by a guy who had played 1 round before and he hit a 5 wood on a 130 yard par 3. It ricocheted off a tree and rolled the other 50 yards and rolled right in the hole.

That's awesome! Congrats.

Mine is actually on the 2nd hole at LSU. 200 yard 6 iron. I can't hit a 6 iron anywhere near that far now. Was only like 3 years ago

Almost had a 200 into wind 4 iron hole in one a couple weeks ago. My buddy and I both hit it to about 2feet max. Mine was perfect distance right. His was just short. It was pretty crazy

I have 5, one of which I thought I lost but ended up in the hole. Unfortunately, none have come in the last 5 years.

I probably would have hit him.

A friend if mine hit a hole in one on a 300 yard par 4. I wasn't there, but the other guys with him said he aimed about 30 degrees left to account for his ridiculous slice. Group ahead was walking off the green and saw it. This guy shoots in the 120's. Such bullshite.

My daughter made one when she was 8 years old from the age appropriate kids tees at my club. I had played for 30 years and she made one before I did, but I finally got my first one two years ago. Sadly, she has not been interested in playing since then.

I've also witnessed a hole in one on a par 4 by a senior in a four-man scramble and a re-teed par (like Freddy Couples at Sawgrass) after the first attempt failed to carry a water hazard.

Well I wrote the date & hole # on it and thought about putting it into a display case. Shucks, if you google "hole in one display cases" there must be a thousand types of them. I thought these things were rare but obviously several other people have made one before me!

Like I said, some great shots turn to shite in a hurry too. I was playing a high school match and the clubhouse overlooks the green on the 18th which is a 130ish yard par 3 and the green is kind an island. i hit a wedge and knocked a chunk out of the cup where the ball landed in the hole and it came back out like a bullet and went in the water. It got enough of the flagstick coming down to hit it back. The first few groups were laughing their arse off on the balcony overlooking the green. i then dumped a few in the water and walked away pissed off with an 11.

Awesome! I hope to get a hole in one some day but I'm usually drunk when I play so probably won't happen

We win golf balls by getting closest to the hole on the par 3's. When we turned in the scorecard, the club pro said he had bad news that someone had gotten closer than me! No respect I tell you!

Had a ball hanging on the lip at the Bluffs once. That's as close as Ive come. It's one of the few things money can't buy that I would love to achieve before I leave this earth.

Never. Been playing for 20+ years now. Can't wait for the day it actually happens. I left one about 12" short earlier this year.
