There happens to be a video floating around Facebook of a Halloween/costume party and it shows one guy dressed up as Spider-Man and another guy dressed as Jesus. They’re both fighting and the video caption reads “Spider-Man fighting Jesus to gives us Stan Lee back” while Linkin Park’s song “In the End” song plays in the background.

I thought this was funny. Some didn’t.

What do y’all think? Too early? Blasphemous?

I don’t think it’s offensive. The whole concept sounds fricking stupid though...

God created the sense of humor and has one Himself. People need to chill out laugh sometimes

Could Jesus microwave a burrito so hot that even he couldn’t eat it?

Seems like with the amount of effort you put into this post that you could have just linked the video.

As a Christian, no dressing up as Jesus for Halloween is not remotely ok. That said, non-believers will do things like that because they dont know better. Christians shouldnt scold this person but witness to and pray for that person(no different than any non-believer)

Yeah, Stan's actual last name was something like Lieberman. He wouldn't be offended.

I'm only offended that someone took the time to make something so stupid.

Christian, not offended and find it slightly humorous (but then again my knee-jerk reaction to anything isn't to see how much it gives me teh sadz).

As a Christian, I don't take dressing as Jesus nearly as seriously as you do.

I like to think of Jesus as wearin' a Tuxedo T-shirt, 'cause it says, like, "I want to be formal, but I'm here to party too." I like to party, so I like my Jesus to party.

Id have to seriously question your fear of God if you would dress up as Jesus in mockery
