Have they been having tsunamis lately? I lived there for years and we had a warning once but nothing happened. I know they've had them before but I don't think it's a very common occurrence.

Why do all of these uber expensive houses and their owners decorate the inside like it's some 17th century French castle? It just looks horrible. It would look a lot better if there wasn't so much going on everywhere. Like how many more folds can they get in all that fabric in the bedroom? And I don't want to move 17 throw pillows to sit on the couch.

Everything about the outside of the house is beautiful.
Everything about the inside of the house is hideous.

Too level with the ocean. I'm only paying that kind of money for a hillside view of the water.

I would like to walk a few feet to the beach, but that is me.

And on top of all of that, there isn't even a beach between the house and the water

There is no place to dock my 180 foot Trinity and no fishing pier. Also to far to swim to catch some waves.

my cousins live on the north shore in Oahu and their average home is over a million dollars priced at now. They bought it in 1979 for 39 grand.

Plus that place is on the south side of the island where the houses have no beach. What would be the point.

Doesn't the south or leeward side get the least rain?

I wouldn't want to live in a house where I have to make a 100 yard dash to the shitter once my morning coffee kicks in.
