There are newer methods that WORK. My daughter was near braces until a dentist recommended a new product that's kinda a cross between braces and invisalign.

Called Sure Smile. We got unreal results and it was at least half the price...but done in office.

Go see Dr. Hummel at Hiller Hummel Orthodontics. Ask for the BAW discount.

Mine was 4 grand. Upper only though. I had braces at 15 and Invisalign at 65. I noticed my regular dentist started doing Invisalign this year. Maybe you don't have to go to an Orthodontist for this.

Total cost was $6,300 from 2019-2021 for my oldest child. Insurance only paid $1,500 of it, so I was still out $4,800.

Tell him he makes more than enough money and can afford his own braces.

If you can pull it off, see what he’d take for cash only. Mine were $4k (insurance covered half of that)

I'm reaching out to see if anyone has any experience with Invisalign and can offer some advice.

Mine was lower but I just needed to tighten my front teeth and open a gap for a bridge. Invisalign is 1000% worth it over braces.

Idk I sort of feel like it's a scam.

No one’s holding you down to get braces against your will. It’s a choice whether it’s to fix a functional or cosmetic issue.

Depending on the issue, Invisalign may not be an option.

$5,400 about 6 years ago when my oldest started with her braces. $7k doesn’t seem that bad if it’s the Invisalign instead of traditional. Just do traditional and it might save you $2k.

Paid 5.5 for a teenager almost a year ago and I'd assume older jaws/teeth are less receptive to being fricked with. Couldn't hurt to get another opinion or two, I guess.

Definitely get a 2nd opinion.. former LSU Center John Whitley is great...he saved us thousands and is one of the best in town, doesn't spend a lot on marketing like others.
