quote:95% of people will dump it on their high interest credit card so it costs more than that. Then they'll complain about their student loans being unfair.
Call me crazy but $7000 for a trip for a family of four to Disney, what is going to be one of the most significant childhood trips, is just not that much money.
That’s less than $600 a month

Saving for years was how I was taught to afford things.

Most just charge the whole trip and carry debt. Seriously.

They have raised prices 100% on everything the last 10 years and are still packed daily.

the very first people he talks to are Disney Adults who have a combined $170k in debt between them without a care in the world….next guy says his debt is “minimal” at $60k
If this includes mortgages and car loans that is pretty good. If it's just consumer and CC debt then they in trouble.

Adults who go to Disney without kids are mentally deranged.

Stay on property at one of the budget resorts (All-Star, Pop Century), catch ticket deals (no ParkHoppers) and be smart with dining and it can be a very affordable trip.

White women are unbelievable. Assuming you really had 600 per month to throw away...
Instead of pissing 7K per year away on Disney, you could be taking your kids around the world, enriching them with cultural and historical experiences that will give them real advantages in life. You could be investing in their future by saving for their education expenses or setting up a trust that will give them a rare head-start in what's bound to be a brutal economy. You could be doing something meaningful and tangible instead of trying to relive your own childhood over and over and over again through your kids.

Premier passes sell out constantly for the parks. Those are an additional $450/day per park during busy times. You can't even hop with it.

Dude your a POS if you are spending money to take your kids places or to buy them things. You should be spending your money on Gold Bars and burrying them beneath your house.
Teaching them school knowledge? You dumb arse sheep. The world as we know it will be LONG gone before they are adults. AI will have all the jobs and regular people will live like cavemen. Teach them to hunt, fish, and fix machinery with their hands. Anything else is a waste of time and money.

I'd book it if we could keep it at $5k

I love the simple mindedness to think that going to Vacation at Disney is an either/or scenario.
And since when is Orange Beach "around the world"?

That is a lot of words to say "I can't afford it".
