One of the most humbling experiences as a man is realizing you aren’t the same anymore.

I’ll admit I could do better taking care of my body, but I’m not obese or anything just eat too much sugar and unhealthy foods.

Anyways, I’m just not the same athletically that I used to be. Just turned 30 and wishing I would have stayed in the gym and eaten better the past few years.

30?

What exactly do you think you can’t get in shape and do?

Dude

You're 30. It doesn't take much at that age.

At 30, you can still turn it around with very little effort. Better enjoy it while you can. shite doesn’t get easier with age.

Eat some lean meat and broccoli and run every morning then get back to me. You'll feel good.

I'm 47. I sprained my wrist this weekend by sleeping on it wrong.

Baw you’re 30. That’s very young. You can turn any of whatever you have going on around easily in a few months. Get back to me in a decade or so when you’re busting your arse and the results still don’t come

OP may not see 50 if he’s going downhill at this rate.

Not too late brother. I’d recommend start intermittent fasting, cut back a bit on the junk your eating, and start lifting at a gym. You’ll start seeing results quick.

Don’t try to do a complete 180 in lifestyle because you’ll burn out. Small changes at a time

Long in tooth and soul
Longing for another win
Lurch into the fray
Weapon out and belly in
Warrior
Strugglin'
To remain
Consequential
Bellow out loud
Bold and proud
Of where I've been
But here I am
Beating chest and drums
Beating tired bones again
Age-old battle, mine
Weapon out and belly in
Tales told of battles won
Of things we've done
Caligula would grin

Tool- Invincible

Welcome to the aging experience.

Get your sugar eating arse in the gym a couple days a week. DISCIPLINE
If it was easy, everyone would do it. Get your comfortable arse up and stop talking about it on a message board

Im 50 and Im starting to fall apart a little bit. I pretty active and go to the gym 4 or 5 days week. I might workout 2.
I mainly train my stepson for fb.
I walk with the wife a couple times a week and am on a constant go. Get out the house! It sucks, once its over you will feel great and glad you did it.
Like the other guy said, you may not see 50 if your mindset is where its at right now

30 is not old baw.
I’m 30; when we had our first little one 2 years ago I took a long look at myself and decided to make a conscious effort to live healthier.

Quit dip, started trading scrolling on social media and TV for reading in the evenings, and I do workout or jog (nearly) every day. Hardest for me by far was quitting drinking, went from a 6-12 beers a day (for probably 5ish years, and damn that’s shameful to type) to sober a little less than a full year ago.

Don’t give up because you “feel” old. You’re not. Use your body or lose it. I’m in some of the best shape of my life after those few changes, both physically and mentally. My marriage, sex life and fatherhood have all improved as well due to the intentional changes I made.
