You see a girl standing up to a bull.... I see a pigeon acting as a mediator in a time of conflict.

Shame on women for wanting equal pay. For shame. Got it.

The gap is all men vs all women. They do not break it down to occupation, or even try to make it based on hourly pay because the gap would be virtually non-existent. The "wage gap" is a joke. The reason the National Organization for Women and others don't delve deeper into the numbers is because the numbers show that the gap doesn't exist. If an hourly, experience, or occupational breakdown showed wage disparity they would be used, but they don't. The facts are that women in general: work fewer hours, choose lower paying occupations, enter the workforce later, take more time off, and retire earlier.

It's not a knock on women, but merely facts.

Please don't let get facts get in the way of some good propaganda.

But..."It's real to them, so you have to respect their feelings." -Liberals

Frick facts, frick logic, and frick any data/studies/common sense that invalidates their feelings. It goes both ways, I can make the same argument for extremists on either side.

The libertarians, center leaning repubs, and center leaning dems need to come together soon and combat this, if not we could be looking at a Sanders or Sanders clone running the country in the next decade and putting the US economy in a Greecian state before many of us can cash out and get the hell out of Dodge.

How about you put your daughter in front of a flesh and blood raging bull and see how that turns out.

This "symbolism" is dumb, means nothing and has no basis in reality.

How about you nail your son up on a cross and see how that turns out.

Placing the diminutive, grade school-aged girl in front of the massive bull on the eve of International Women's Day was a way of calling attention to the lack of gender diversity on corporate boards and the pay gap of women working in financial services, a spokeswoman for State Street Global Advisors said.

So a symbol of women special interests standing in the way of financial prosperity and capitalism. Lovely.

It's amazing to me how women can claim to be such heroes yet such victims at the same time. The constant self back patting is unreal.

I agree. There's nothing more powerful than the nation continuing to work just fine without the less productive members of its workforce.

Myth of Wage Gap

Prager U made this video. They even go as far as to site feminist and liberal sources that all conclude what you just said: almost all, if not all, of the wage gap can be explained by career choices. From majors to willingness to work longer hours or more dangerous jobs.

As the vid explains, if women made less... why wouldn't businesses only higher women? They'd save a lot of money if that gap existed.

Why is the statue of a girl and not a woman?

Artist is obviously a disrespectful, misogynistic tool of the patriarchal society.
