Is 37k doable?
On the XLT with the 302a, you should be able to get 12-13k off sticker fairly easily.

'm not impressed with the leather on my KR at all

Croaka, remind me what year you have? I recall we were similar models. I have the 2012.

My leather is also 'fading' slightly on the seat part where you slide in and out. But it's not that bad and I have leather conditioner that I apply every 1-2 years. I helps a lot.

The most annoying part is my steering wheel. It's not hold up very well to be honest.

Still love my KR though. Wouldn't trade it for any other.

AGree that that original KR leather was much better.

Mine is a 2013, so same leather as yours

I think some of the trim may be slightly different

Same with my steering wheel. It's peeling in a few places also but it's dark underneath so it's not too noticeable

I know the leather in the current gen is different. It's closer to the saddle leather that was in the 08 and earlier ones but not quite as "raw"

He named a source, but can't show what they actually say, where as I named a source and what they did say. The Tundra is mediocre. It does nothing well but piggy back off the Toyota reputation, and have "seat of the pants

LNCHBOX, we are way off subject comparing trucks. Start a new thread instead of taking this over with your hate for Toyota and/or Tundra supporters. Everyone has opinion, that is why some people buy Chevy, some buy Ford, some buy Toyoya. From my experience, I enjoy(ed) my Tundra the most, followed by Silverado. Ford makes a great product (my 05 was a POS IMO), that is why they are (big quotation marks) ""best selling truck in USA"" for so many years. Can we all just agree that Titan & Ram are POSs and rest are in the same conversation of quality trucks?

Our gen of F150 was the best looking trucks on the road at the time IMO

But from an appearance only standpoint, I think the Sierra is a better looking truck than the current gen f150

To me, the grille on the current gen F150 is way too plain jane, even though that sounds dumb. Seems like they went lazy on the grille design for the lariat, KR, etc

Eta: if I was buying a current gen, I'd have to go platinum I believe

You bought one lifted from the dealership?

I'd hate to see how much of a markup they put on that

I agree. Looks-wise, current gen Sierra is better looking.

Disagree. Would probably go KR again or go Sierra.

Sell it before you hit 120k miles. In our family we had an 05, 06 and 08 all drop trannys between 120k and 130k, among other issues.

Never again will I own a Ford.

Coach, again I respect that you sell Toyotas. So that pretty much makes you the most biased person here. The Tundra isn't the class of the market, and there's mountains of evidence to back that up.

Same color I brought home. Definitely a sharp choice. Congrats on the purchase. Hopefully I'll be making mine soon.

I've been in the mood but I've got a house to build first

Hopefully I'll catch the mid-gen refresh

I'm waiting on the inevitable grill change and then buying a new gen KR. My truck is still better looking than most on the road

I have a consumers opinion in this thread, from my experience, not the dozens of stories of people that say Chevy, Ford, Ram, etc are POS and Tundra is the best truck they ever owned (like the Tundra that made 1 million miles! weeks back and was still running flawlessly). You are just a grumpy hater than is not bringing anything to conversation but hate toward a Tundra. Did one take your lunch $ in school or something? Let everyone have their opinion and get over yourself

Ive brought plenty to the discussion. Just as much as anyone else. I'm sorry that you can't accept the vehicle you sell isn't the best. No need to call people names over it.

I know. I've owned sever different makes over the years, so I'm pretty impartial. Currently the Tundra is not the best. That doesn't make it a bad truck, it just isn't the best.

I didnt call you a name. I said get over yourself and stop writing all over this thread your hate for Tundra. I believe the Tundra is best truck out there (not because I sell them, I am a consumer also and that is my opinion), and obviously people that purchased Tundras, or F150s, or whatever, believe that is the best truck or they would not pay $30k for one. Can we move on to close this thread since the OP purchased. Start a new thread about your opinion and move on with your hate.
