It is actually more likely that we are alone in the universe. The universe is a violent hellish place. For the exact right set of conditions to either create or sustain life is almost mathematically impossible. I say almost ,because we are obviously here, but improbable that there is another planet like ours.
There’s absolutely life outside of this planet or has been.

How can we sample the atmosphere of a planet 120 light years away but still have places with no cell phone service in America?

Space isn't real. Wake up, sheeple.

The Catholic Church has been one of the biggest supporters and preservers of science over the last two millennia.
To your point, if they weren’t interested in the topic, it’s weird of them to have an entire program to study the stars: In the Vatican Observatory.
Unrelated point on Catholic views and extra terrestrial life: many of the same folks in the scientific world (and society in general) who would quickly call evidence of a protein or amino acid or other things lesser than a cell on another planet “life” are the same people who argue against a multi-billion cell human fetus at the end of gestation as not being “life”…how peculiar

The Catholics won’t like this breaking before Easter

“It is in no one’s interest to claim prematurely that we have detected life,” said Nikku Madhusudhan,….

The Catholic Church might be somewhat corrupt but the Protestants think that ghosts or aliens are demons. But when a dude with a beard appears in the sky it’ll be their savior fasho

Keep kicking over rocks eventually you'll find a snake. Now is it a garter or a GDKC you dont know. Sometimes it's better to not kick over rocks.

Why? The first is saying they haven’t detected life….which they haven’t, just very strong evidence that it could exist there
This is a revolutionary find. First time in history that astronomers have discovered evidence this strong that supports a theory of life on another planet.

Zero proof exists. You alien life believers are amusing. Is it possible, sure, but not very probable.

Who said aliens? I said life. You may want to look up what life is.
