They all were. My bro inlaw has a 72 Lincoln Mark with less than 500 miles. A 2 door and I can lay back and relax and my knees dont hit the front seats.

My first ride was a Cutlass Supreme, 1972, copper/bronze, with a white vinyl top.

Same design drop-off happened with the 88 with the 9th Gen design.

The car I took to college was a black 78 with red interior and a V8. This one is almost exactly like it. It had the had 1/4 vinyl roof and raised white letter tires.
Probably my favorite car.

First college roommate had a 1985 Cutlass. It was gorgeous. It was one of THE cars to have in college. It looked a lot like this --

Not a Cutlass. But based on the same design. This is one of the most badass cars of the 80’s. I’d love to have one now.

I got a '78 Cutlass as my first car in HS in the late '80s for a cool $800 and took it to LSU in 1990. No complaints. Why did I ever get rid of that sweet arse ride?

Actually the 1988 design looks amazing for a 1980s car.

They were sturdy too.

That looks exactly like my 78 Monte Carlo, down to the red racing stripe.

Late 80s and 90s American cars were absolute shite. I just pretend that period didn’t exist

its ashame that our cars are so uncomfortable now. cars like these had seats that were like sofas. I had a 1979 oldsmobile royal coupe that was so comfortable and rode so awesome. also got over 20mpg despite being huge and having a v8.

I want to get one of these and fix it up one day. I love the look of these and also the monte carlo and regal from this era

There are only 547 GNX Regals.Good luck aquiring one There is a reason the owners are known as "the fortunate 547" They usually go for 100K. Regular GN's or turbo T Types are cheaper and more readily available.
