The downward spiral of the Cutlass Supreme design has to be one of the great travesties in automotive design. It was a sweet car until 1988.

The 1973 model change looks like butt

My parents had two early 80’s models. One gray, one green. I never knew how awesome those cars were until years later.

My old man was an Oldsmobile man. We had quite a few different models.
Oldsmobile had some sweet designs through the years. Then the 90's hit and everything went to shite.

Loved those interiors....all the charm of a casket lining.

That was a good looking year. I'm an old fart-- several high school classmates got them as their first cars.

The 83 GM cars were shite (and I own one now). The plastic clips that hold items such as the door panels age quickly and break. The automatic seat transmissions were also cheap, brittle plastic. They often had early electronics - hard to fix now and hard to get parts. Some of the cars look good, but they basically suck quality wise.

Yeah, my high school's parking lot was full of early and mid 80's Cutlass Supremes, Monte Carlos, Regals, and such.

I had a 1980 model for a few years.

My first car was a 1975 Cutlass Supreme with an 8-track tape player and landau roof.

I've had 2: '77 & '80.....really liked the '80 with the Buick V-6....almost a bullet proof engine.
