There are vehicles in the same parking lot that you have to walk through to get to the store, dumbass.

I have 3 kids 6 years apart, so I had 0,2, and 4. Put the fricking cart back.

Take them with you. Park next to return. Teach them by example and to not grow up to be assholes.

Haha the next customer is going to take it in? The next customer is going to be as fat and lazy as you, and because of that, they will wait until inside the store to put their sausage fingers on a cart.

Than what are we governing and why? So yes. Its a matter of opinion.

Some people do the right thing. Others only care about themselves and anything else is not their problem. We've established that already.

Again. Opinion. Right thing? Why is this the “right thing” and who decided that? Why is this an issue? The store provides a cart corral and ask that you use it to help them be more efficient. Again. No law. Maybe the store should have someone push my buggy out and help me load my shite and bring the buggy back? Why is this my fault? Seems like you should be lecturing the store and not its patrons.

Yet another lie made as an excuse to be lazy. Do you think about the people's cars that get dinged when your cart rolls into theirs or nah?

Not a lie baw. Thats my outlook. Again. What makes your outlook ok and mine not? Who made you the deciding factor on parking lot acceptance and standards. How does one not wanting to walk halfway back to the store in 120 degree heat to return a cart belonging to the establishment that owns it? I actually like it when I pull in, park my jacked up 250 in the back and see a buggy waiting for me. When i see that, I'm also willing to bet it has 4 good wheels as well since its that far out.

And as far as dings, why don't you voice your
Frustration to the store. They should do something with their property. Im also willing to bet that rouge buggies blown by hurricane force winds and damaging ones car because they weren't returned to a staging area is very very few. So this is just a reason for people to bitch and talk shite to people.

I grab a stray on the way in and then return it to its proper place.

Exactly! Do you clean your table after eating at a restaurant (a restaurant not some fast casual shite)?

Stupid comparison, a table at a restaurant will be cleaned before the next customers are sat. A buggy will block parking spots until they come pick it up. Most of the time 50% of spots are blocked because assholes are too lazy to do what's right.

Found the a-hole that just leaves the cart behind the car parked next to them.

I only leave the cart behind the vehicle if that person is taking up more than one space in a busy parking lot. It's a good test to see if that person truly lacks situational awareness or has a vision problem.

I have taken mine (same ages basically now 3 and 4 for another month) solo many times and started parking right by the buggy corral when possible.

I always return the cart.

At costco, I had some wannabe OT baller get out of shitbox lexus and bring a spare tire over to me and ask where to fix it. Pointed to the tire place, told him he might try the tire center, and walked off.

This prick had the nerve to say: "terrible customer service! What's your name?"

Now, I may dress like a bum on my off days; I may even have a scruffy beard; but there are certainly hints I don't work at costco. And even if I did, you don't snap at someone in the service industry like that.

What began was likely the most unexpected virulent stream of insults this guy ever experienced.

I'm pretty sure I insulted everything from his car, to his cheap arse watch, to his upbringing.

Every time I park on that side of the building I wonder if I changed his ways

Edit: I was pushing my cart back when he approached me.

People complain about self checkout but don't complain about having to bring their carts back to the cart station?

Years ago you could go to the grocery and they would ring up the groceries, bag the groceries, bring them to your car and load them up for you.

Nowadays you're doing everything at the grocery besides stocking the shelves so that they can increase profits and minimize costs.

Who has seen their grocery bill decline since the inception of all of this self-serve nonsense?????

Don't be duped by the grocer's bottom line antics, YOU are the customer and they should have employees to serve the customer throughout their shopping experience.

Yeah, even in the most rural of areas they only did all this for women shopping alone or with children. They didn't do this for everyone.

Because not putting the cart into the corral leaves it out to block other people from being able to park or worse they roll and damage other vehicles. Everyone knows putting the cart up is the right thing to do. There is no arguing otherwise.

Self checkout is just an inconvenience.

Exactly. This outrage is faux generated by Big Grocery to justify cutting labor. I still remember when high school kids would be employed to walk you to your cart, help unload and then return the cart. It was better for all, except hedge fund bottom lines.

That said I do always return the cart unless it is raining or really hot outside. It’s disgusting that people just leave carts given the current system.

Never shop at Publix? Also just like the old days they mostly do this for women.
