I have a miniature poodle that is at least 15 -adopted her in 2005 and the vets guessed she was 2 or three. Still going strong. She has always been painfully skinny no matter what I feed her. Years ago I asked my vet how I should fatten her up -he said don't dare - dogs are supossed to be skinny. He said that a fat dog will line his pockets, but keep them thin if you can.

My loyal, rescued, bench-legged asthma beagle, Leroy. 15yrs.
He always had my six on the paper route, no matter how much he may have wanted a nap.
May doggy heaven rain scraps of gold on you, old friend.

If your Mom is still alive, you need to have a hairdresser royally frick up her hair at her next appointment.
The score won’t be even but you have to at least make an effort...
ETA:
These rocks in Turkey have the same haircut as you did-

I think I look like a young, towheaded Dwight Schrute

The one we had was the same way. She was skin and bones no matter how much she seemed to eat.

Don’t really know.
He was a mutt pup when we found him.
Probably 15 or so when I brought him to the clearing at the end.
Spike was a good dog.

15. 2 Eskimo Spitzes both made it that long. One had cancer, the other had kidney failure. Legs quit working.

If I was God for a day I’d address the life span of dogs on Day one, right before Smiting the Gumps . I’d give them 40 years and make the maximum litter two or three . Everybody gets two dogs in a lifetime.

17 year old english springer spaniel. In his younger years he did everything with me including riding in the cab of a track hoe. Now he mostly rides a lazy boy.
By far the most loyal and dedicated dog I've ever had. If we are outdoors he always moves the direction I am going and never gets out of my sight. He still sometimes brings me a woodcock and places it at my feet only to watch it fly away. I don't know how the hell he catches them without hurting them.

Lab mix and she lived to 14

The oldest one I had got to 11.
My neighbors across the street just lost their yellow lab - 17 years old. That's, by far, the longest I've ever heard of a lab staying alive.

My Welsh Terrier turns 14 in May. The bitch just will not die.
