My childhood dog just passed last year. She lived to the ripe age of 17, Akita mix.
The neighbors behind us have a terrier that hit 22 last christmas. Damn thing feels like a shaky pile of sticks and old wet leather at this point. Feel bad for the little bastard.

My wife had a lab/cur mix who made to 16 1/2. He was a gentle soul and tough as nails.

My dog right now is about to turn 16. A little deaf and peripheral vision seems shot but other than that going strong.

Just put down my lab. He was 15 years and 9 months . Had a rat terrier that made it until 16 but she was deaf and got under my dad's truck after he ran back in the house for something. She didn't feel it crank up so he backed over her.

A mutt mix of at least 4 breeds, 19 years old when she died in the backyard on a spring day 5 years ago ! She never had a shot or heart worm pill. She loved being outside and never wanted to sleep in the house no matter how cold or how bad the weather was. She was an ugly thing but loyal as hell and a great family dog.

Current dog is 14 years old. 70lb German Shepard and Chow mix. He gets around good. Kind of an odd personality but laid back most of the time. He does have his Chow moments though.

I have two very trashy pitbull mixes, 1 1/2 and 2 yrs old.
Not sure how long they’ll live before some OT poster shoots them.
They’re very vicious. They almost licked my face completely off on numerous occasions.

Exactly what happened. He developed some sort of disorder that made his blood thin out and it was coming through the pores of his skin. He made it about 10 hours after we noticed and took him to the emergency vet. Really sad and really weird. Bassets are the best man. Here's to a long life to yours

Had a beagle that made it a little over 16 years. He was a Christmas gift for my oldest child when she was 6. He made it past her college graduation. He was a great dog.
