What is your opinion?

At Caples & Robinson I observed what was probably a guy in his upper 50’s/lower 60’s that had braces.

Maybe it’s me but it seems like putting a crystal chandelier in a haunted house.

People are living longer. Why not look and feel your best?

With the way benefits are done now, you can set up a orthopedic pay plan that will basically pay for it in full in a year or two and you never even have to worry about the cost

I got braces in my 30's, not because I wanted them but because I was going to loose my bottom front teeth if I didn't have my bite adjusted. I didn't realize how bad my bottom teeth were until they fixed them.

Now my aunt got them in her 60's for cosmetic reasons, I would never do that.

Maybe they have had crooked teeth their entire life and now they can afford to get them fixed.

I had this exact thought this morning while brushing my teeth. I've considered them for the bottom a few times but then I realized I'm fat old and ugly now and nobody cares about my slightly crooked bottom teeth.

Some of the worse pain I've ever felt is the night after getting a new wire put on your braces. Not sure I'd feel like dealing with that at 55 years old.

Have you heard of slack-jaw? It's more than just an insult. As you get older your teeth can migrate - Usually happens in lower mandible. Beetus can play a part with gum disease also. TMYK

I’m 37 and have braces right now. Wish I had done it when I was younger but better late than never. I never realized how fricked my teeth really were until they started straightening. Almost finished with them now.

Maybe my plumbing still works and needs service from time to time.

People are living to 90 now. He's still got 30-40 years where he'll need good dental hygiene.

Strange. Most people, especially adults, get invisalign these days. Even my teenage son got them instead of braces.

Orthodontic might make more sense in this case .

Could be causing them problems. My top teeth are completely straight, but I deal with some crowding with my bottom teeth that cause the front two to overlap a bit, which means I sometimes bite the inside of my lip. I keep intending to go do Invisalign to straighten them out, but I’m just too busy. I could see things slowing down in the future and me doing it because frick it, why not?

It should be mandatory for all Brits to get braces at 5 years old.
