This has been around for centuries l, but I'm pretty sure it is a lost art as of a few generations ago. As society and science have advanced, things such as witchcraft and voodoo have subsided quite a bit.

You’ve got to remember that until like 100 years ago shite like this might have been considered practical advice. In third world countries they still do things that would shock you. Women are particularly hesitant to embrace western practices.
