Guy who was once my best friend had trust issues with women due to his mom cheating on his dad with a guy my friend was friends with. Well he ended up going off the deep end with pills and alcohol and it made him violent. Beat up a girl bad, got a year and half. Got out, ended up doing it again along with intimidation of witnesses. Got 48 years. Ruined his entire life. Was one of the nicest guys I knew before he lost control but the drugs and alcohol combined with taking steroids brought up some deeply embedded shite in his brain and he just lost it. Tried to help him, his family tried to him, but he wouldn’t listen. He thought everyone was against him. He literally lived in alternative reality he actually believed his own lies. Never seen someone fall so hard so fast. It was sad

My father has been in prison for 15 years. Killed a young woman over $80. He was diagnosed with a terminal illness in January and passed away July 2nd. I've hated the man for so long but have just felt a cruel sadness about it all these months leading to his death. I'm just glad to be sober.

I've mentioned here before an old friend of mine who is currently doing time. We both will be old men if/when he gets out.

I know 3 folks that went to PMITA prison. All 3 killed people with a car.

Two killed their passenger while DUI. Both were always pieces of shiat. Both resumed POS life after getting out. One of the dumb fricks was posting on social media photos of him living a great life and drinking… and the judge got wind of it, and the dirt bag was back in jail for a year. I have seen them once or twice and I honestly just have nothing to say to them.

The third guy was a cop that ran a red light and killed someone. He had no reason to run the light and was convicted. Hard 2 years in prison but came out of it okay.

Was that DUI?

I've never seen a traffic accident here that wasn't DUI or recorded far beyond reckless to ever see a criminal charge let alone jail time let alone felony years in prison.

Ran into a guy a few years ago that had been in prison on weapons' charges. I hadn't seen him in 30 years and didn't even know he'd been locked up.

He was still an idiot.

Not DUI at all, not that type of guy. Had a history of incidents prior to this. He was hauling arse on surface streets without cause. I don’t want to doxx the guy with details here. The victim was a prominent citizen.

Old roommate of mine from Tech who was extremely smart and graduated in engineering and got a nice job out of college ended up screwing that up. He ended up one night driving around shooting a gun at random cars so went to jail for a few years. He’s a good dude though and I haven’t talked to him since but I think he’s got himself back together.

Gay Busey in The Firm says something like…. She was 16, looked 24, and I did 8-10.

She was 16 and looked it. He was decades older and looked it. He did less than 8-10 and that was a travesty. He had Frankie DiSalvo as a defense attorney.

Guy I was friends with is doing 20 years for child porn. Victor Loraso, was an attorney in Baton Rouge. It’ll be a long time before he gets out and I doubt I ever see him again. Don’t really need to.

It was not as much the half-kilo of cocaine or the pics of him snorting it with a barely clothed 16 year but also that the girl was part of a politically connected family. He was a high ranking official

Thought you describing Hunters life there for a minute. But we all know he will never see the inside of a jail cell…..

You should be in for killing LucasP.

I don’t know (off the top of my head) anyone who was in for more than a night.

I have a friend in Angola (I know i know. I am lying because I don't have friends).

Its a long story, but he really was/is a good dude. Got into a situation where he was getting attacked as retaliation to someone he is related to. After the 3rd or 4th time it happened, he went inside, got his gun and shot the one dude behind it. He was about to start his 2nd year in college, instead he got life with no parole.

I have moments where I want to go visit, but have not gone yet and the longer ive waited the worse I feel. As for as detractors who think its stupid frick those people. That's part of the reason its hard for people who get out of prison to adjust. People don't want to be seen or known as someone who is friends with someone who did time. But you are not a teenager or in your early 20s, its not like you will let someone influence you.

I bet the detractors are "good god fearing people". That's usually the ones who make a big deal out of it

I have a former friend and his name is Mike Wade. I say former because of what he did. Shot three people in cold blood and the officers at the massacre said it was a crime of rage… I doubt I’ll never see him again because he should receive the death penalty.
