I see the keyboard warriors are out in full force. For me I don't think anyone should be thrown away like trash. If he was a good friend to you, then I would say you should reach out. Clearly the guy has some demons and maybe you can somehow help him thru his struggle.

Lemme tell you something your parents didn’t. Men who like to rape little children will always want to rape little children and should be thrown away like trash. Death is the only relief for those who struggle with wanting to have sex with children. He doesn’t deserve friends.
There is no grey area. This is a natural and appropriate reaction normal people have towards strangers or “good friends” who rape children.
