Yes, there are several cars that are capable of doing 175+. 200+ is a rare group though.

Mine would hit 150. 170+ is badass, 208 would need a lot of aero tricks plus 650+ HP.

So trash stache was able to hit 208mph on the interstate in a mustang?

Annnnnd

The officer was able to clock him at 176, get up to speed and give chase, and clock him again at 208 and still be able to catch up.

Sure.

Knowing how much tax dollars that would have to be spent on this piece of shite to be in jail I disagree. He should have his license taken away and be on house arrest for a long time, but don't waste tax dollars on him.

I'm not certain I even believe the 176. Even a heavily modded car can't do that

What? My 2004 Mach 1 that had nothing other than an offroad H pipe and catback did a GPS verified 151. That was with maybe 340 crank HP and 3.55 gears. Throw some turbos and 3.08s, and 176 is nothing.

No way.

Has anyone here ever been over 150? It's scary. I'm not certain I even believe the 176. Even a heavily modded car can't do that

136 in my 350Z. Had pedal left, but not any balls.

I get so fricking nervous and feel like I'm about to go off the rails when I get past 90 MPH and threaten 100.

Can't imagine 176 or even 200.

Surprised they even went after him. I had a state trooper tell me if they clocked somebody over a certain speed they wouldn't pursue because it would become an even bigger safety issue than it already is.

Unless maybe it was the middle of the night and nobody else was around and they thought it was okay.

The 208 mph may be a mistype. I was under impression Canadians still used Kph.

That sounds more reasonable. If this is the case, he was clocked at 109 and 129.
