I hit 146 at the I-10/I-12 split in BR on the I-10 side at 9AM in the morning on a spring saturday.
Car was smooth but would scare the shite out of you.

I've been 185 driving and 205 riding in previously mentioned car and it's stupid. I have no desire to go that fast again in something that's not a race car.
My 350z topped out at 155ish and it felt like it was going to take off.
This was young and dumb days, I haven't touched >80 in years.

Not that fast. Not without a LOT of $$$ work, well beyond the means of someone who works at Texas Roadhouse. Cooks at Texas Roadhouse can't afford Hennessy Mustangs.

145 in a 92 mustang LX 5.0 when I was in hs many moons ago, thought the car was getting too much air under the front BBC the nose was lifting ...

Top speed of a bone stock 2011 Mustang GT is 149 mph. 2015+ GTs top out at 164 mph off the showroom floor. It's not all that outlandish.

I did 165 in a 2002 Trans Am Firehawk when I was young and dumb. Like other posters say, you can start to feel the lift under the nose and it's scary. Never again.
