yeah, these schools had it coming for playing the national anthem. Just like wearing a short skirt at the bar when you know there's a bachelor party in there. It's really the school's fault.

The will of the vast majority of students and parents shouldn't be overruled by a very small, vocal minority.

This is no longer America. Kids can't sing the National Anthem. If you walk down the street wearing a hat that says "Make America Great Again" you'll get your arse beat in most of the country. If you support the President of the United States of America in the United States of America, it is "hate speech." How is all of this happening when the liberals LOST the last election???

Do high schools still do the pledge in the morning before the day starts? I remember in HS, every day a different student was picked to read the pledge. It was a big deal if you got picked to read it. But since there were way more students than the number of school days, not everyone got picked. Including me. I was pissed because I always wanted to read the pledge.
I remember one time a guy in my class got into it with the teacher and in order to piss her off he decided to not stand for the pledge. He did it for about a week. Everybody in the class thought it was funny.

Maybe you actually don't know what false equivalence is...man, the statistics about poor education in the south is true. Sad!

I'm trying to say I'm with you. We need to demand that the flag be removed from the schools and history classes suspended until this all blows over. We don't want to upset these fragile children.
