Josh Eatadick Eachus is the one who, in 2017, stuck to his “no accumulations” prediction even as Baton Rouge was piling up an inch of snow. I am just south of BR and ended up with 6.5” of snow that day. He’s consistently VERY wrong.

Is that the one where he kept trying to belittle everyone on social media calling it “flakemegeddon” leading up to the event?

17 degrees at 7am tomorrow in BR. luckily no more precipitation

So does the ice melt, everything gets wet and freezes over again tonight, or does it melt and evaporate and we just have the cold to deal with tomorrow?

If the humidity is low and it’s breezy like it should be I would think most of it will be gone.

Everything in the sun is melting its arse off at my house and it's still 25 degrees. Localized heating and low humidity will kick most of the ices arse today.

Can you drive from NOLA to BR around 2PM when it goes above freezing and if sun shines?

Sun is out. Ice seems to be receding off the road a little. but it is still 20 degrees here in CS. Only bonus is the wife is working from home, in yoga pants (no pics).

i'm glad you and your employees are all safe and none of your loved ones have to worry about you guys. Good job, boss man.

I felt warm and fuzzy about it on Sunday night At some point the weather man put out a pretty good probability of freezing rain at 3 AM Monday, the only way the guys could be out and back in time to avoid the afternoon freezing stuff was to start at 5AM. I didnt think a good idea for them to be out and first on road in the dark. It was the right call, but as I stated prior, I am paying for it this morning. Customers calling some in NW and NE La.....acting as if road closures arent all around us. Waiting on off and on ramps of 1-49 in Alexandria to open and maybe send out a guy or two. That and the 210 being closed is throwing a pretty big kink in my rope. I really need those spots open so we can do some stuff this PM so we can head north tomorrow.

I can tell you I've taken a five minute cold shower at the end of my shower for the last 2 months.

Today, I made it 16 seconds.

My penis may never recover.

Where? It's pretty icy in Mandeville. Closing schools was the right call, and I'm almost always against closing.

Is it? My house is right between Covington and Mandeville, someone said snow last night in Covington and now you say ice in mandeville, but I’m seeing minimal evidence of this. Just not a lot of precipitation last night by me I guess.
