That could/should be the snow coming from Acadiana. Now is our best chance to see some. Between now and 1130

People still stuck on the I10 bridge in LC since 3:30pm this afternoon no timetable on when they will be able to get off. They will have to clear a wreck before so it might be a long night for them

I'm not that great on Winter weather radar, but I don't think much, if any, of that is snow. At best it would be a mix.

ALWAYS make sure you have a full tank of gas before a winter event is forecasted. Never can tell.

It's probably some sleet mixed in. Little higher reflectivity in the ice. Correlation Coefficient in really un-correlated. Meaning a mix of ice and rain, maybe a few flurries that are melting. Snow would have a high particle correlation.

Also word of a body on the ground. Unclear if ejected or jumper/faller to avoid being hit.

I missed the 210 standstill by 15 minutes.

Mine jumped back above freezing. Water on the trash can lid was frozen then went back to liquid 30 minutes later. Still hovering at 32 for now.

Retarded Entergy shutting the power off. Lived for 10 years up north- never lost power.

LA hits 30 degrees and their electrical grid fails.

This State is a failure on so many levels.

It's been steady freezing rain here in New Iberia. All elevated surfaces are icing up, but roads still look good.

My brother left for work two hours early and now he’s a half hour late. Not sure if his route but it’s normally 15 minutes?

Yep supposedly that person got out and a vehicle came sliding toward the person and it jumped or got knocked off the bridge and fell 60ft to the ground. I saw pictures on KPLC FB of a tarp on the ground and first responders around it

As someone who has actually nearly frozen to death once, I can say that this is some nasty shite.

30* and raining it's nuts off right now.

Transformers don't blow. If they did they would catch fire. What you likely heard is an overhead fuse. They are designed to blow out during a fault and sound like a shotgun.
