When will the leaders of the black community step up and put the blame on a LOT of this shite squarely where it belongs, Thug Culture. If you listen to thug rap lyrics (I almost called it music but that's laughable) constantly, glorifying gang shite, drugs, violence, "thug life", etc, tell me it doesn't seep in to your brain and form your attitude, personality, and decision making processes.

The police know better than to travel to certain areas of Chicago and Detroit. They largely stay away and let the residents police themselves, high murder rate be damned. Same thing happened many years ago with East St. Louis, when firefighters responding to fires were being shot. The only thing lacking in this strategy is a fence or wall to confine these fine folks and prevent them from leaving.
