Not only do they not know that there was any injustice, they don’t even know if he died from the gunfire or from the crash as he attempted to flee.

He had warrants. When he was 17, he was waving a gun around, in the street. Cops were called and he jumped in a car with three others, and ran. Cops aught them and pulled them over. He jumped out and ran like the wind and got away, but cops knew him from many past encounters.
They found a .45 on the floor where he was sitting and his friends confirmed it was his. He was arrested, did not go to court, and had warrants issued.

Just by going off of the police report, it says he tried to re-enter the vehicle and the vehicle kept moving before it ended up hitting another vehicle.
So my preliminary guess is that perhaps the guy accidentally left his car in drive and got out of the car. Once he noticed his car was still moving, he tried to get back in it and put it in park. But of course, once police have asked you to step out of the car to be under arrest, and you try to enter back inside the vehicle. That is basically a death sentence. It's a no-no, please don't do it.
Again, this is just my preliminary guess based off of the police report. Will try not to make any more judgements than this so far.

Maybe, but the GF was in the car. She could have done something also. And if that was the case, I doubt the police shoot. Most of these there’s a lot more resisting arrest going on then is reported initially and that’s the reason for a gun being drawn in the first place.
