The vaccine has a more significant side effect profile than most vaccines, however, significant side effects are still very rare despite what purebloods say.

Mandates and pushing the vaxx on kids was and still is disgusting though.

I wonder across the country how much of this is driven by people hiring for bullshite positions during Covid with free government money that’s now dried up and they’ve got this bloated workforce with no real jobs to do?

Lots. They initially cut then hired travel which cost them a lot, now don’t have those funds. Govt & executives really screwed medical the last few years.

Sorry, but you are very wrong on great doctors and departments. Neither are quality, and I’ve seen it. And so it won’t be skills they are looking for. Ochsner would be the last place I’d recommend.

The days of people believing Ochsner is a well run system are long gone. Shitty management and strategy.

This is terrrible. Companies are saving billions keeping them working from home, but still chopping heads. Terrible.

Im not here to knight for admin. They frick up royally

But the truth is doctors frick up even more royally when trying to run the show(as a whole)

Then it becomes a dick measuring contest between the two sides

The problem is that physicians are taught how to practice medicine and typically know frick all about how to run a business. So, someone needs to be there to actually run the business. That doesn't mean that admin aren't without faults, but they actually have formal education in what they are doing.

Ochsner absolutely ratfukked the gov't during Covid and then spent lots of money acquiring failing hospitals and clinics. This expansion was financed on the back of a one-time revenue burst from a pandemic and a liberal government. Then it ended.

How'd that work out?

Agreed. The doctors I went to in the Ochsner system at The Grove were extremely hit and miss. Mostly miss. And the customer service there is very woke and very shitty.

What finally did me in was their mask policy extending it way past when the state did away with it. Not to mention my PCP was a dickhead. Couldn't be happier with the BRG/OLOL systems of doctors.

That's a bold statement considering we only have 2 years of an actual track record and the CDC/FDA have been blaming long Covid and other made up bullshite/data on the significant side effects we've seen in the last 2 years.

I would love to see how much money is spent on worthless DEI positions. That’s the biggest joke among any business. Hire the best person for the job regardless of race.

FMOLHS better take notes on how not to run a hospital system. Ochsner is basically giving them the blueprint on what not to do.

OLOL ER in Walker and hospital in Ascension are quality. They saved a relative that Ochsner O’Neal sent home after a 5 hour ER wait and partially septic (their words). OLOL admitted asap the next day.

hmm considering all that pandemic cash they made, and all the new sites they bought/ brought on line. it sounds like a bs cost saving measure for executive salary.

Yes, it's like talking to a brick wall. It's always "let's schedule a meeting" to talk about any issues or concerns we have. Literally all my "bosses" do is sit on zoom calls all day talking about the same things over, and over, and over.

I have just stopped voicing anything. I show up, do my work, and go home. I just hope they leave me alone.

Yep This is essentially what’s being cut. They have big middle management issues that just need to be curtailed.

The problem here is, word comes down from the top to the higher up VPs as how much money they need to shed from their budgets, then they pass that task down to a Middle level VP, and to save their own arse they recommend cutting persons X & Y bc person Z can do all the jobs now.

And the goal is reached but not actually solving the real problems.

*I just went through this @ my own hospital and watched the useless VPs save their own arse at the expense of others.

So this ain’t going to be low level folks

That’s not right.

$125m/770 is about $162K. If you remove benefits, that’s probably closer to a 100-120k salary.
