Of all the tenants, it had to be this one.... if it goes, at least the OT has another 24 years of material to fuel itself
Jet fuel may not be able to melt steel beams, but apparently the Vax can.

You see, there’s more benefit to leaving the thermostat below 78 degrees than just for comfort.

WTH does caved in mean? A cave in is a collapse. I didn't see a collapse. Perhaps they mean the floors are sagging.
It means the floors collapsed. You can't see the floor collapse because you're only seeing the outside of the building. Follow me for more building structure advice.

You couldn't pay me to live in a high rise apartment building

Around 8 a.m., construction workers noticed cracks inside the building. The FDNY say the workers spotted structural support beams beginning to buckle on the 21st and 22nd floors and self-evacuated.
And then they turned and got the hell out of there afterwards.

Nah, theres probably a bold red footnote on a print somewhere that says DO NOT REMOVE BEAM 48B284 UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUILDING WILL COLLAPSE
And beam 48B284 was probably removed by some idiot trying to make a shorter walk to the smoking area.
