Hoover had a small group of BLM protesters who kept having rallies a few years ago, and the PD definitely won that battle. They charged a lot of them, and the perps had a lawyer who led them to believe he could get the charges dropped. He couldn’t deliver, and the city keeps delaying their cases so that they are essentially paralyzed with felonies hanging over their heads. Several of them can’t get jobs anywhere and also can’t leave the area.
ETA: Here is a video where they swooped in right before one of their “demonstrations” and arrested the organizer. The other videos on their YouTube page are equally hilarious.

Parents didn’t know everything the cops just reported in that presser. They believed her. I forgive them for standing by her up until this press conference. Any public support of her story going forward is unforgivable.

There is so much that is straight up
Stupid about her story, I don’t even know where to begin.
The 911 call was gold. Stupid arse didn’t even have the wherewithal to put herself in the shoes of someone on the highway. 911 caller is asking details and she’s like it’s a boy, he’s in a diaper and t shirt… instead of being like how would I know. I saw him half a second. LOL
Her whole…I broke free walked through the woods and emerged in my parents neighborhood is hilarious. This girl is not smart.
I would love to know what is going through her parents mind right now.

I may just be too cynical and jaded. And I did not get to watch the presser, just the comments here. But I don’t see them charging her. This was their elbow off the top rope to get the parents to shut the frick up. As payback for the national interview. And to convict Carlee without going to trial. We will see if Hoover is as principled as you all say and eventually does charge her with something.

Amazing job by PD to put it all together I just dont get excited until something is done. At the moment they embarrassed this young lady but have not done anything with pen and paper. We all know talk is cheap.
It almost seems as if everyone is happy about the dressing down (good enough) of this chick yet literally nothing has happened.
Imagine you had done this and tell me the results dont differ.
