You have to commend them for the "my baby di'in do it" routine. It's a cornerstone of the culture.
Pretty recent development. Black moms used to be pretty kickass and hard on their children.
The political entitlement has ruined them.

How could she have walked home and been unresponsive? I thought unresponsive meant that someone is not conscious in medical terms.
How did she get home and why did she go all the way home if she truly was kidnapped?
Did the kidnappers drop her off around the corner?
You’re not gonna walk all the way home after escaping your kidnappers. You’re gonna stop at the first home or business you see that seems safe.

You’ve got to be pretty gullible to believe this was anything but a hoax at this point.

Did she have her phone on her when she made it home? Was it charged?

I thought her phone was found by her car when she “disappeared”.

If only whoever was giving her a proper stretching at The Red Roof had a cell phone and could have their signal tracked right before she stumbled in the front door.
Could "Proper Stretching at The Red Roof" become a hit country song?

Maybe. I haven't followed that closely. I thought I heard audio of a dispatch call from the first officer on scene say that the only thing missing was her phone.

She should have a very good idea of where she escaped. Manhunt is just being delayed to let her nails dry.

The parents want to believe their daughter.
I wonder how long the police are going to let this drag on. The parents believe there are abductor(s) out there. If you believe that, then you'd be concerned that they may come back for her and want her protected, I would think. You'd also want to know that the police are out there looking for the perps. There was no mention of them being fearful. I'm not sure how they are making sense of this.

Has any believer been able to explain how Carlee was already in the emergency lane with flashers on when she comes into view of the traffic cam, proceeds to travel an additional quarter mile or so before stopping, yet at this point she gets kidnapped?
Is it customary to leave your toddler bait a quarter to half mile up the road from your entrapment stake out?

And who the hell is gonna get a toddler to stay on the shoulder of a busy interstate until some random person decides to stop?
You can’t get a toddler to stay still long enough to get dressed.

Below is what has been consistently reported.
quote:
“Her car door was open, the engine was running, and they found her phone on the ground, along with her wig and her hat,’’ Talitha Russell said. “Her purse was still in the car. Her Apple watch was in her purse and her Air Pods as well.”
She took a selfie earlier Thursday night before disappearing.
She left behind items that could track her and that may have made her more noticeable that night, but apparently since not found in the car she did take the food allegedly picked up from Taziki’s.
Oddly the family did not start pushing pictures of her without her left behind wig/extensions until some time around lunch on Saturday (at least that is when I saw news articles following situation get updated with a pic).
Edit: pic might explain why the orange hair’d kidnapper had to paint her nails.

We need some dang breaking news and details already. This has dragged on for too long.

The parent interview this morning added some fuel to the fire. We might get fireworks because of it.
I’m not sure what Hoover is planning, but the family going on national television to say there’s a kidnapper on the loose doesn’t make Hoover PD look good.

Surely the Alabama law enforcement/FBI have issued an Amber alert for the endangered toddler and public warning regarding this diabolical scheme of using a toddler to kidnap women...
Hello? anyone?

anyone with a brain knows they're lying, so I wonder if HPD is going to take this "personally" so to speak and start going on the offesnive.
Someone mentiond it many pages back but it's like that dude from GA that disappeared in baton rouge and died on a crack binge. I think BRPD was going to be respectful until the family kept prodding them and calling them out so they were like "ok fine, you want the details? Here they are" and exposed the shite out of him. Not aht I necessarily WANT that to happen ehre, but I have to wonder if that might be the outcome if they keep getting shat on

Exactly. They either believe the girl or they don't, assuming she has become mentally stable enough to speak with them. She may have refused, though the parents insist there is an investigation going on. The police have said they are still investigating as well, I believe. They need to say something at this point. Their citizens deserve to know if they should be concerned about abductors in the area. I think the police don't believe the story, so they aren't jumping to make statements, but in this situation, they should say something.
