This thread needs to be bumped next May. Folks who travel to the SEC-Tournament bemoan "there's nothing to do there!" Well, this incident took place at the exit from I-459 to the Hoover Met. You can do your own tour, sort of like the Texas Book Deopository.

Their statements were set up to eventually say "The real kidnapper here was mental illness, and she fought that kidnapper physically and mentally for 48 hours."
BINGO. When moms said, most importantly she had to fight mentally for life...

We need some dang breaking news and details already. This has dragged on for too long.
The police said they are going to give her a few days to get her dookie together, and re-bond with family. That is two days. Today is 3 days.
If they don't interview her today, Ben Crump is already in town.
Let's put this girl in jail, then get back to finding the black woman that the whole country saw kidnapped, and really disappear. We need her back.

though the parents insist there is an investigation going on. The police have said they are still investigating as well, I believe.
Why would Crime Stoppers return all of the donor money if they are still searching for a perp?

Did she have her phone on her when she made it home? Was it charged?

I highly doubt this is the case but people are going to eat a lot of crow if it turns out she was kidnapped. There was a couple in California who were accused of faking a kidnapping and the police even made a statement, and it turned out to be true. Police have to be very careful about exposing her lies until they have concrete proof.

Has some Althea Bernstein vibes. The agencies - even when they know they've squandered resources on hoaxes - are more concerned with appeasing the crazies than seeking justice and telling the truth.
Side note, months (maybe more than a year?) after Althea Bernstein's racial attack hoax was apparent, the NFL continued to honor her as a victim of racism. They put her name on NFL marketing when the truth is she was likely burned while throwing Molotov cocktails at government buildings.

She drove on the shoulder of the interstate with her flashers on. Eventually stopped near a mile marker sign. And happened to get kidnapped by weirdos with an 18 wheeler in a small narrow thicket of woods???? In that exact location she stopped?
Yeah,,, uh no we won’t be eating crow on this one

Any recent Cliff notes in this case?

Did they have video of this California couple's car on the interstate parked alone?

Hopefully, the law enforcement is doing due diligence in this case and the first thing is to get the alleged Red Roof Inn's security videos and phone records, locate the alleged 17 y.o. boy-toy for a statement.

Latest gossip among the OTM SAHMs is that that Red Roof Inn is a big trouble spot for human trafficking.
Because, you know, hotels in Vestavia Hills are such hotbeds of nefarious criminal activity. How they know this chilling at the country clubs and Nordstrom I cannot say.
The will to believe Carlee is off the chain among these women.

It has definitely happened before, but the fact that the police are not saying a word about some suspected kidnapper on the loose, or some toddler that was wondering along a busy interstate that is still missing makes me about 98.9% sure that there was no kidnapping.

If she was driving, saw a toddler as she passed it, then looped around and was trying to find it again, this is exactly what her driving would look like.
I'm playing devil's advocate here. I would love to hear her side of the story, if she says she looped around or not.
There's no devil's advocate to play here. If she had called the cops right after spotting a baby she wouldn't of had time to get off at the next interstate exit (Hwy 150), drive back to the Galleria and then get back on the interstate again and drive half a mile away from the Hwy 150 exit and then stand next to her car for another 30 seconds.
It's 4:30 from the time her car came in view of the camera and the police showing up. I Google mapped the time to loop and it would take 15 minutes or so to loop around and that's at least 20 minutes from the time she would have spotted the baby until the police arrived. That would rule out her looping around.

I wasn’t aware of the Aniyah Blanchard case, awful story. After reading up on this, was the accused murderer, ibraheed Yazim, found guilty? I know he was charged with 1st degree murder, but can’t find the ruling.
