hey are so dumb for going on that show. That interview was literally:

"Vicious people have texted and called us spreading lies"

"Carlee physically and mentally fought for her life for 48 hours"

"I can't talk about the investigation or how she got back to us"

Notice the dad didn't say but 2 words. And when the reporter asked "Do you believe there is still a kidnapper out there" the mother had a slight hesitation but replied yes while the dad had a legit pause and just basically waited to echo what the wife said.

Her mom should have more sense too, how stupid is this statement "Carlee has to deal with the trauma of all these evil people spreading rumors on social media". Bitch been gone "kidnapped" for 48hrs with no phone, how was she paying attention to social media. Since she's been home who in their right mind is letting her read through all that shite

I guess the mom is trying to believe her daughter that she thought she raised well, but you have to call a spade a spade man

I’ll probably get dragged for this, but, it’s equally as illogical as a girl embezzling from her work, having a baby with a 17 year old and deciding the best way to deal with that is to fake an abduction that involves an elaborate lie about a baby on the side of a very busy highway and that requires her to leave her Mercedes door open with the car running with her purse and phone and other valuables a free for all.
I think it's obvious at this point she wasn't kidnapped by someone using a toddler as bait. The nonchalant nature of police statements and the fact they said the investigation should be finished in "a few days" confirms that.

At the same time, a lot of these Twitter reports about embezzlement, a baby, etc. are equally ridiculous. Hell, the one posted a page back said "a friend followed her and picked her up" and she spent the weekend with her. The traffic footage alone dispels that notion, not to mention the police statements that she wasn't followed.

Most likely this was coordinated with someone for something as simple as getting attention from an ex. We're not dealing with the brightest people here, either, so whatever happened will be rather easy to prove.

Their statements were set up to eventually say "The real kidnapper here was mental illness, and she fought that kidnapper physically and mentally for 48 hours."

She only had to jump a chain link fence to get from the interstate into the neighborhood culdesac. You can pull it up on Google maps.

I live nearby and know someone that went out and helped look for her on Friday morning. I'm not sure if it was a chain link fence, but they said there was a hole in a fence between the interstate and the homes in the cul-de-sac.

How could she have walked home and been unresponsive? I thought unresponsive meant that someone is not conscious in medical terms.

The traffic footage on the other side of the trees where a neighborhood is and her SIL likely made the call to 911?

Yep. Setting up schizophrenia.

I still think Hoover PD drops the case. I know some disagree. There’s going to be a shite storm at the federal level with race baiting shitheads jumping if they charge her.

Let the family reveal she’s mentally ill and Hoover closes the investigation. Brief generic statement about letting her get the help she needs and let it go.

That’s my bet.

You’re not gonna drive like that if you “saw a toddler” wandering on the side of the road.

If she was driving, saw a toddler as she passed it, then looped around and was trying to find it again, this is exactly what her driving would look like.
I'm playing devil's advocate here. I would love to hear her side of the story, if she says she looped around or not.

Meeting at a predetermined location =/= “followed her”

Facebook post from my old neighbor this morning. Surprise, suburban, white liberal woman.

I am very disheartened about the reaction to Carlee’s safe return. The prayer requests were mighty and far-reaching and, ultimately answered. I am curious what type of conditional prayers people might have been praying. Let us be grateful and patient.

There’s nowhere to loop around there without a significant detour. Further, police have stated she was in contact with people on her phone the entire time from getting food until she disappeared so that will be easy to dispel with cell data.

The kind for her to not be killed by her killers. Those prayers were voided when it became known there were no kidnappers.

It's believed that she walked through the woods to the neighborhood, dummy.

So why (during their TV interview) didn’t they ask or mention anything about the toddler that started this? I mean, if it was real then as parents they would have sympathy for that child and their parents right? Not one peep about that child.

And thats where the whole story telling started which if wasn’t true makes everything after fake as well. No police BOLO for a child. No missing child reports from that area that day or prior. Nothing from anyone about a missing child. And the police were there enmass and would have seen signs of a child had there been one. Marks on ground, the way grass is bent and so on.

No ome is even talking about a child including the parents. No one

You have to commend them for the "my baby di'in do it" routine. It's a cornerstone of the culture.

Technically you can be unresponsive to stimuli (unconscious) or verbally unresponsive.

Maybe she was kidnapped by her mental state. I feel for the parents. They're going to believe their daughter whatever it is she is telling them.

There was something about the way the mother said she was fighting "mentally" for her life that stuck out to me.

IF Carlee told police she was kidnapped, one would expect the police would be putting out a description of the perp or perps by now.
