Imagine the backlash if some police officers or military baws did this. Since nurses are predominately women the media will build an idol to them though.

I mean, lighten the frick up people. Lot of assholes in here.

This crap is out of hand. They are doing what they went to school for. Downvote all you want but all this (hey look I’m a superhero because I’m doing my job

Insufferable? How the hell does what they wear or do possibly impact you in any way?

thought what better way to show their strength than with superhero costumes.
Ummm this is about the most autistic way of doing so. Strength is based off of reputation not throwing on some tights and posting it to facebook.
The people who exaggerate themselves in heroic acts are the people who haven' done shite. People who have had to sacrifice for the greater good never talk about it and don't care for the pleasantries.

People are just tired of hearing about them. This is what they signed up for when they went to school.

How dare you talk about those heroes like that

Look , I’m sorry y’all are tired of hearing about front line this and superhero that! But , I can promise you would be singing a different tune if you had to donn a N-95 mask , face shied , plastic gown, head coverings and shoe coverings all the while hoping it not leaking just to go in the icu room . Now you’re in for 5 hours , sweating so much your wet under the PPE . Your mask is itchy and wet , but you’re not suppose to touch it with your contaminated gloves . You really don’t want to change gloves in the room so you put on 3-4 pair . Anyway your Pt is coughing up crap if not on the vent , Lungs filling up with snot with a BP of 80/35 and you can’t do crap to help them . So go ahead and bitch about the super stuff if it makes you feel better. We’ll keep doing our 12-16 hr shifts 5-6 days a week worrying if we’re bringing it home to our family/kids not counting us .

You know no one is doing 12-16 hour shifts 6 days a week, every week. Just come straight out and beg for that $25,000.
