I get your argument here, but iPhones are just like everything else made in China, bc of the cheap labor. Tik Tok is owned by the Chinese government, that’s a fact. And the concern over the Chinese Using it to get information from people has been an issue for some time now.

One can be using a device that was not made in China (overall anyway), but that is not relevant to Tiktok. Any company in China can have the CCP show up on their door and ask for all data they have with an expectation of compliance. To my knowledge at least.

It is my understanding that Tik Tok in China is garbage free, mostly educational and informative stuff. They reserve the trash for here.
