My BIL is quick-witted and funny. His youngest son tries to emulate his dad but cannot pull it off. I'll have to spend the day trying to stay in a different room from that idiot. The first person who wants to shove their phone into my face to show me some video they find amusing will likely receive a dog cussing.

After having some Annual Thanksgiving Play by Play hall of fame moments in the past the last few years have been relatively quiet and nice because my mom has been visiting her sister and my in-laws have been going out of town on Thanksgiving. We have been picking up Thanksgiving dinner, eating early, and watching movies all day. It’s been nice. Well, less than 24 hours ago my entitled SIL decided, on no notice, that she is coming into town and expects everyone to change their plans to accommodate her. So my in-laws cancelled their trip and expects everyone to be at their house all day. So now my MIL is crying because she didn’t have time to cook(they are warming up KFC tomorrow), my FIL is pissed because their trip got canceled, my wife is upset because Thanksgiving is ruined, my kid is mad because he wanted to play Roblox in his pajamas all day,and my SIL is pissed because I refuse to go. That bitch doesn’t even like me, she just wants to control the whole situation. And it’s only Wednesday.

frick that.... id go out of my way not to attend. Do not reinforce any of this behavior

This is why im a staunch believer of if holidays are stressful the way your family does it dont go. You only get so many holidays with your wife and kids where you get off work and get extended time with them....why waste them going through stress that someone else insists on??

They have been going at it really every since Kirk was assassinated. SIL thinks he is a POS and did not seem too upset over it all.

I have multiple Charlie Kirk shirts I'm wearing this week because people this stupid deserve to stay mad and make fools of themselves in front of everyone.

Oh, I’m not. Guilt doesn’t work on me. And my wife is backing me up too. She was gonna skip too but her mom brought out the tears and she caved. Her sister pisses me off. She always wants everybody to act like it’s a big freaking deal whenever she comes into town and I’m not wasting one of my favorite days of the year placating that.

SIL was complaining to my wife about MIL - my wife was filling me in - she pocket dialed her while bitching.

We’ll see how this turns out lol.

A friend's wife left him with no notice a couple decades ago. She took the money in their bank accounts, a brand new expensive car he had paid for with his prior separate funds and cleaned out their house with a moving truck. Nasty legal fight ensued over custody of the kids. He was self-employed and spent every penny he had paying attorneys and had to declare bankruptcy. However, they never resolved the separation of community property issue, which does not prescribe in our state. He waited many years until she is about to be eligible for social security benefits and has filed a lawsuit for his share of her monthly retirement payments and the value of the property and money she took. He had a special process server appointed by the court so the suit could be served on her right before she hosts her usual big Thanksgiving shindig. Wish it would be televised on Pay Per View.

What time are you picking up dad for Thanksgiving?

11am. Have some rep.
Btw son new girlfriend is a Buddhist just found that out. This is going to be a show.
Edit. Wife is talking about using chinet paper plates instead of the good plates since we don’t have 16 setting only 12. She just drove over to her mom’s house to make sure she doesn’t lose her shite over not using the fine china. It’s turning out to be a sweat pants type thanksgiving.

First Thanksgiving without my grandma, mother in law and father in law. It’s going to be strange.

Niece bailed on tomorrow so she can make time and a half at Santa land to save for her neck tattoo.

She's still in high school.

No Ragerts

Nearing the end of my layover in Atlanta but has anyone ever been on a flight that deplaned in a calm and orderly fashion?

My all time fave from SECdragonmaster in 2020.
Nothing says redneck Thanksgiving like a pouty stripper

quote:

My early entry:

My 45 yr old cousin (divorced x3) is coming and bringing his new girlfriend (mid 20’s) who is a stripper.

His kids don’t want to come to Thanksgiving if their dad is bringing the stripper so now they are refusing to come.

His mother (my aunt) has already called him up and told him to “leave his whore in Atlanta” and come to thanksgiving. However, when she called him - he was driving and answered on Bluetooth in his car and his stripper girlfriend heard the remarks.

Now everyone is mad at everyone and who knows who will show up.

First batch showed up and two of them are acting like they’d rather not be in the same room. No idea what that’s about, but noted.
