Whoever started the mass panic over that, if that is all there was, needs to be beat.
I am not sure of the details, but all it takes is one person to overreact to create a panic. Not saying that's what happened, but hearing the screams from that video I can definitely see people reacting to those screams and thinking the worst.

So glad I have zero involvement in the cheer/travel sports world. It looks rough 93 percent of the time when people aren't hoisting trophies or having secks at a chain hotel.

I’ve been in a few of these type of situations over the years. One time recently at large Catholic school in the New Orleans metro area. When it starts kicking off I’m out. I have self control and get the hell outta dodge. I grab my kids(if possible) and leave.

My wife asked me one time at a cheer competition to go ahead and save 7 other seats for people and this is why I told her no. Parents are crazy. I’m not fighting honey boo boos dad for seats so he can get 2ft closer to see his little girl.
