If KKK members brought donuts to one of their weekly meetings, are donuts next on the #cancel list?

No need to leave this rhetorical, they obviously would be. And probably bagels as well for good measure.

Aloha shirts have become a disconcerting signature for members of a gun-toting, anti-government faction

But dressing in all black, toting a gun and being an anti-government activist is heroic.

I can't believe these people are so easily manipulated by threads on the internet.

Having said that, I'm fat and tan.

The “Boogaloo Boys” as they are known, an amorphous coalition of gun-loving anti-statists, white supremacists, preppers and libertarians, have adopted the Aloha shirt as regulation.

I love how they lump as many people as possible into one group.

Maybe it's just cause the shirts are really comfortable?

I mean rapists and murderers and KKK members all prefer to crap in a toilet instead of squatting outside. Does that make everyone racists and murderer sympathizers for also liking to shite in a toilet

They’d been growing underground for months – years, possibly – on the gloomier levels of the internet, where the dank memes live. But lockdown and the early-summer sunshine made them rise in the civic spaces of America. Blowsy hibiscus flowers. Cycad leaves. Fat yellow pineapples. The bright, cheerful blooms of armed, dangerous, white, alt-right America.

Yeah...if 2020 has shown us anything, it's that we're to be afraid of armed, alt-right fascists roaming our streets and creating havoc.

This is like the "OK" sign or "It's OK to be White"

Some non-pc dudes who aren't anything resembling traditional white supremacists are highly effective in trolling society. They've turned "OK" into a worldwide "racist" symbol, have gotten people to call "It's ok to be white" hate speech and are well on their way to the elimination of hawaiian shirts

This. Controversial/nonsensical opinion === more clicks === more revenue. It's journalism's new business plan in order to stay relevant.

I hate Hawaiian shirts, but it would be stupid if people all of a sudden stopped wearing them just because a certain group starts wearing them. The best way to combat a group from taking over a style or be associated with something is for people to continue wearing them.

Like those stupid fricking tiki torch things. There was one situation that was made public in which some white supremacist used them then all of a sudden they became associated with white supremacist.

That's the stupidest fricking thing. If there is a picture of white supremacist using an igloo ice chest.. Will people are associating that with white supremacist?

It has become apparent that a whole segment of our population are simply defective....

Hopefully nature will find a way to remove these defective pieces of shite from the population.

The point is that you can run around with guns, burn shite, assault people, be anti-government, intimidate citizens and politicians just as long as you have the "correct" political view.
