These “experts” just make shite up. You know where this comes from? A bunch of SF dudes started wearing Hawaiian shirts in Africa and Syria and wannabe bad asses started wearing them CONUS. It started at pistol matches and when taking IG pics and morphed over to these Open Carry guys that go out to demonstrations. But I love how they work so hard to link this to the Nazis.

There are more "journalists" and more avenues of "media" today than at ANY point in human existence. If you are someone who tries to make a living as a "journalist" accuracy, the underlying factual basis, etc is SECONDARY to the necessity that you publish material that gets viewership/clicks. The only way to do that is to pen articles that separate you from a vastly saturated market. How do you separate yourself? Take outlandish positions and write outlandish articles. You don't give a shite if it is accurate. You don't even give a shite if the majority of people hate your article and/or premise. ALL you care about is if and how many read it.
