Seems kind of steep for a party host. I guess a good party host wouldn’t have given the guy drugs that would’ve made him OD though.

Absolutely. Everyone marveled at Stanka's ability to produce whores, drugs, and a place to party at a moment's notice.
For once, BR actually had its shite together, ran a thorough investigation, and solved the crime. That family was in serious denial.
But if you totally want to frick up your life in one night, and possibly end it, it can definitely be done right in BR
