I like the manual chainsaw from Hazard Fraught Tools. It keeps the right arm in shape.

Before a big storm the ivory tower asked all the directors what they needed for their departments before the storm hit. One director said absolutely nothing. They had to be rescued because they didn't have chainsaws to cut through all the fallen trees. Shockingly they are still employed.

Can throw any kind of Oil in it in a pinch. Fuel and 2stroke oil may be hard to come by but I imagine easier then electric

Jesus, this level of stupidity is astounding
Are they air dropping gas generators?
Where is the gas coming from in your imaginary world?
Why the frick would I wait on a generator to charge a battery when I can use the same fuel to power my chainsaw and get the job done now?!?!
Yeah, let's just forget the massive limitations of battery powered equipment... (which is significant)
What you posted is astronomically stupid!!!
I swear, I hope you are never in a position of power at your job, because you are more than incompetent at a basic level of understanding situations... I mean, just flat out fricking retarded

For sure. LOL
A long arse time ago I was running a project on a government facility to repair a bunch of electrical shite that got blown up by a hurricane.
We had mobilized emergency contractors to come out and handle some pretty important assets. Things were going well for a few days with guys working 12-15 hour days and doing real work. Then this government employee stepped in and was questioning the mosquito spray the contractor was using and such.
I wanted to strangle this person.

You don't charge the chainsaw, you charge the batteries. You keep 3-4 batteries on hand and swap them out when one dies. With enough batteries, you can work continuously.
Still a moronic idea for a situation with limited access to electricity to charge the batteries.

This is some political irony…however, I’ll bet there wasn’t a single one left after 30 minutes. You can charge one of those lithium batteries for 20 minutes and cut more than you care to move.

Emergency Cleanup needs to be managed like a boss … and no self-respecting boss would rely on such devices. FEMA needs to step up their game … again.

Do they make a left hand model?
Or can you use both hands.
